User Accounts

This section describes the various components, methods, and user accounts to use.

Component Method Description
Cloud Controller Web UI, CLI Access with the username and password provided in the CloudFormation template input parameters “Email Address” and “Admin Password".
Cloud Controller EC2 Instance SSH Accessed as the "cloudbreak" user with the SSH key provided in CloudFormation template input parameters "SSH Key Name".
Cluster EC2 Instances SSH Accessed as the "cloudbreak" user with the "SSH Key Name" provided during cluster creation.
Cluster Ambari and Zeppelin UIs If NETWORK & SECURITY > Protected Gateway Access > Ambari and Zeppelin Web UIs parameter was checked during cluster creation, Ambari and Zeppelin UIs can be accessed with the credentials provided in the “Cluster User” parameter during cluster creation.
Cluster Cluster Components (NN, RM, JHS, SHS) If NETWORK & SECURITY > Protected Gateway Access > Cluster Components parameter was checked, you will be able to access the Cluster Component resources through the protected gateway with the credentials provided in the “Cluster User” parameter during cluster creation.
Cluster Hive If NETWORK & SECURITY > Protected Gateway Access > Hive JDBC parameter was checked, you will be able to access Hive through the protected gateway. See Using Apache Hive for more information.
